Hino ECM Programming & Custom Tuning
3K Calibrations provides custom Hino ECM programming and tuning throughout Canada and the USA. We support a wide range of Hino M, L and XL Series trucks equipped with J05, J08 and A09 engines.
Custom Hino Calibration
Every calibration is built specifically for the engine, truck and application. Depending on the ECM and application, we can adjust supported parameters including power, torque delivery, throttle response, governed speed and other operating settings.
Multiple ECM Platforms Supported
Hino trucks use several different ECM platforms depending on the engine and model year. We support multiple Denso ECM styles as well as newer applications using separate Bosch aftertreatment control modules.
Remote & Ship-In Programming
Programming method depends on the engine, model year and control module. Supported applications can be completed remotely, while others require the ECM or ACM to be shipped to us for programming.
Built for Working Trucks
Our Hino calibrations are designed around how the truck is actually used, including delivery, vocational, construction and other commercial applications.

HINO Programming — How It Works
2-Plug & 3-Plug Denso ECMs — Remote Programming:
Hino trucks equipped with the 2-plug or 3-plug Denso ECM can be programmed remotely using one of our complete remote programming kits. We ship everything required directly to you, making the process straightforward without removing and shipping the ECM.
Cab-Over / Under-Dash Denso ECM:
Some smaller-engine Hino cab-over trucks use a different Denso ECM located under the dash. These applications cannot be programmed with our remote kit and require the ECM to be removed and shipped to us for programming.
Cummins-Powered Hino:
Newer Hino trucks equipped with Cummins B6.7 or L9 engines can also be programmed remotely using our Cummins remote tuning process.
Custom Calibration:
Every calibration is built specifically for the engine, truck and operating requirements.
What We Need:
Send us the truck year, model, engine information and a clear picture of the ECM label. We'll identify the ECM and confirm whether the truck can be completed with a remote kit or requires the ECM to be shipped.
